After seven years with State Farm, they’ve decided to discontinue my emergency roadside assistance because, unfortunately, both of my cars broke down back-to-back this year. One had a transmission failure, so I couldn’t drive it at all. Even though I barely used this service in the past seven years, this time I had to rely on it a bit more. When I called to ask why it was being canceled, I was told it was because I used it too much. The funny part is, I’m only going to see a discount of less than two dollars on my monthly bill. So, State Farm’s solution to me using their service too often is to take it away entirely! They are known for the slogan “ Like a good Neighbor State Farm is there” … well until you actually need to use the services that is!
